Our Teachers
Apple School employs
degreed teachers for its Head Teacher positions in each classroom. Assistant Teachers may be degreed or have early
childhood college classes and/or several years' experience in preschool classroom settings.
State regulations
require a ratio of 1 teacher per 8 two-year olds, 1 teacher per 10 three, four and five year olds, and 1 teacher per 16 school
age children. Apple School has always exceeded these ratios.

Staff Training
A background check is
completed on each staff member, which includes a criminal record check. Each staff member is required to have a complete physical
examination and annual TB tests. Once hired, each teacher must complete twelve hours
of training in child development each year. In addition, all staff are CPR and First-Aid trained.

Additional Facts
Currently Apple School has
7 teachers with a Bachelor's degree and 1 teacher with a Master's Degree. We have two staff members
who have been at Apple School for more than 20 years, one staff member who has been a member for 13 years, one who has been
a member for 9 years, and the rest have been with Apple School between two and five years. We consider each other as
"family" after our long association together.
